For a little piece of Lapland in the middle of the Gulf of Bothnia, come and see Kalle's Kota at Kalle's Inn. It is a traditionally built Lapp-house commonly found in the northern parts of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
Kalle's Kota is mainly used for dinner parties at Christmas, for birthdays, weddings, as part of a company incentive day or for that something a bit extra when entertaining your guests.
The decor inside is typically Laplandish, with seating for up to 60 people on seats carved from the trunk of fir trees and covered with reindeer skins. The floor is flagstone and features an open fire in the middle of the building over which we grill salmon nailed onto planks of wood. You can also sample other delicacies from the Lapp kitchen such as reindeer, elk or deer. Furthermore the Kotan also has its own bar and features a "star sky" ceiling with tiny spotlights laid out to exactly resemble the sky above Kalle's Inn on a chilly November night.
For the ultimate "outdoor experience" try an overnight stay in one of the reindeer skin-covered bunks hanging from the ceiling!
